Job Title: Mainframe Developer - COBOL/CICS (Automotive Finance)
Location:Torrance CA (Hybrid - 4 days)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experiencedMainframe Developerwith strong expertise inCOBOL/CICS DB2 JCL and MQ along with domain experience inAutomotive Finance. The role involves application development production support and performance optimization across multiple enterprise-level systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provideapplication development and production supportfor large-scale mainframe applications
Troubleshoot and resolveproduction issues including batch and online abends
Analyze and optimizedaily/monthly batch processesto improve efficiency and reduce processing windows
Performimpact analysisacross multiple systems and platforms
Delivertechnical design development and estimation documentation
Participate inon-call supportfor batch processes during off-hours
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with:
COBOL
CICS
DB2
JCL
IBM MQ
Experience inmainframe development production support environment
Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills for batch and online systems
Familiarity withunit testing practices
Preferred Skills:
Experience inAutomotive Finance industry
Exposure toFIS Systematics(A plus but not Mandatory)
