Summary:
The Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all correspondence and deliveries are processed efficiently maintaining the flow of communication within the company.
Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments and personnel ensuring direct delivery.25%
Handle special mailing requests such as express and certified mail.
Collect outgoing mail and ensure it is properly processed and dispatched.10%
Receive and log all incoming packages.
Ensure prompt delivery of packages to the intended recipients.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments.
Maintain accurate records of all outgoing shipments.
Assist with office supply inventory and distribution.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mail room.
Provide support for other administrative tasks as needed.
When required obtain signature/receipt for critical items.
Performs other duties as required

Education Skills Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a mail room shipping/receiving or similar role preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and a friendly professional demeanor.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 20 pounds.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
