As a Machinist at Lantech you play a critical role in producing high-precision components that power our industry-leading equipment. Your skill attention to detail and problem-solving ability directly impact product quality performance and customer satisfaction.

As a Machinist youll apply your technical expertise to machine complex parts while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes CNC mills manual lathes and manual mills

• Machine parts to print using both metric and inch drawings

• Hold and inspect tight tolerancessometimes less than 0.001 inch

• Produce simple to complex components using a variety of machining equipment

• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers bore gauges indicators and optical comparators

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints including GD&T

• Devise creative and unconventional part-holding methods when needed

• Maintain a strong focus on quality safety and productivity

• Perform other duties as assigned

Youre a great fit if you:

• Have 5 years of experience in the machining trade

• Can independently set up and operate CNC and manual machines

• Are skilled in producing both simple and complex parts to print

• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Are comfortable working with tight tolerances and high-quality standards

• Work effectively within a team environment

• Are dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record

• CNC programming experience

• Prior forklift operation

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Vocational or trade school training is a plus
