Machinist

FieldBridge is looking for a CNC Machinist in Katy TX to work for the worlds largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $22.00 - $32.00/hour (depending on experience) Monday - Thursday or Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Schedule may increase to 12-hour days based on production demands Weekly pay every Friday OT opportunity available. At $32/hr and 52 hrs/week for example earn weekly paychecks of$1856 gross.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate precision CNC equipment in the production of downhole PDC drill bits at a specialized drill bit manufacturing facility in Katy this role you will operate CNC lathes mill-turns and mills to produce graphite molds and machine steel-bodied drill bits to tight tolerances rotate through multiple production functions as part of cross-training and contribute to continuous improvement on a high-performing manufacturing team. This is a technically demanding role producing some of the most precision-engineered cutting tools in the oil and gas industry. All process-specific training and SAP system training provided onsite. Interviews conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes mill-turns and mills to produce graphite molds and machine steel-bodied drill bits to specification
• Read and interpret CNC machine code and make modifications as necessary to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Utilize hand tools including pipe wrenches die grinders impact tools and chain-related lifting equipment to complete production tasks
• Rotate through multiple manufacturing activities as part of ongoing cross-training initiatives and participate in pre-job and Toolbox safety meetings
• Identify opportunities to improve the production process and apply continuous improvement principles using Manufacturing System tools

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in a production environment or completion of a CNC training program required
• Ability to read and modify CNC machine code required
• Experience with DMG Mori mill mill-turn and lathe machines preferred
• Experience with Grob mills preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills including email and basic navigation; SAP training provided
• Strong attention to detail safety awareness and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active manufacturing environment
• Must successfully complete required fit-for-duty and physical agility assessment during onboarding
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
