Machining B Operator- 3rd Shift

Starting Wage: $21.93/ $2.00 Shift PremiumJob ObjectiveTo operate machining equipment in the CNC area Rod Bending area or the Brake Press in the Laser area. Must be able to make minor adjustments when needed while complying with safety maintaining quality criteria and following production and Responsibilities 1. Review the work schedule to determine what jobs are to be started or completed.2. To set up and operate all machining department equipment with assistance from the A Operator in accordance with the tool set up instructions engineering drawings and specifications for the particular order to be run.3. Makes necessary adjustments to programs tools and equipment as necessary to facilitate production and quality standards.4. Periodically inspects parts with blueprint specifications to assure proper dimensioning and quality.5. Maintains proper lubrication of equipment and cleans machine.6. Maintains accurate production records.7. Notifies Process Engineering Manufacturing Coordinator or Manufacturing Manager of operating problems.8. Provides information to maintenance and the tool room to assist in diagnosing equipment or tooling problems.9. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition using 5S principles to minimize safety hazards and lost time accidents.10. Performs other duties as assigned.11. This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS.12. Maintains a good attendance record.13. Noise levels are between 90-95. The work area is a controlled safety practices consist of safety shoes safety glasses hearing protection gloves and other devices as required.
