Machine Operator / QA 1st Shift

Lobos Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator with a strong Quality Assurance background.

Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00 AM2:30 PM
Pay: $24$25/hour
Overtime: Some OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Set up operate and monitor production machinery according to SOPs.
• Perform in-process and finished-product quality inspections.
• Use calipers micrometers gauges and other precision measuring tools.
• Identify defects or equipment issues and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Document production and QA inspection results accurately.
• Follow GMP safety and quality procedures.
• Work with QA and maintenance teams to resolve quality or production issues.

Requirements

• 13 years of Machine Operator or Production Technician experience.
• Hands-on Quality Assurance/inspection experience.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical schematics preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Previous GMP and food industry experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a meat-processing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail communication and problem-solving skills.
