Job Summary
Nesco Resource is hiring an exp. Machine Operator II / 1st shift for our Client in Conover NC
Pay: $16.00 hour / if solid work experience will discuss a higher rate
Hours: M-F 7a-3:30p
Position Summary:
The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for setting up operating and monitoring a variety of woodworking machines to produce quality wood components according to production specifications. This role requires intermediate machine operation skills the ability to make machine adjustments and consistent attention to safety and quality standards.
Machine Operator 2 roles involve operating more complex machinery and processes than entrylevel positions and may require limited troubleshooting and setup adjustments.

Position Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate assigned woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and production standards
- Inspect parts for defects accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Perform trial runs and adjust tooling or machine settings as required
- Load unload and position materials and parts during production
- Select install and adjust saw blades cutter heads boring bits and tooling using hand tools
- Follow work instructions production schedules and quality guidelines
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Identify equipment issues and report concerns to the supervisor
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
