Machine OperatorGannett Publishing ServicesGainesville FLWe are seeking a hands-on motivatedTeam Leadto oversee daily operations in our small-scale manufacturing plant specializing in printing and packaging. The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing industry strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality and safety. This role is critical in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of efficiency and team Responsibilities:Lead and supervisea team of production workers to meet daily manufacturing workflowand assign tasks to ensure optimal use of resources and production quality troubleshoot issues and implement corrective compliancewith safety regulations company policies and industry and mentorteam members on equipment operation safety procedures and best maintenance quality control and logistics to ensure smooth performance metrics report on production output downtime and improvement continuous improvementinitiatives to enhance productivity and reduce :High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.3 years of experience in manufacturing preferably in the printing or packaging leadership or supervisory experience is highly understanding of printing processes (e.g. flexographic offset digital) and related communication organizational and problem-solving to work in a fast-paced hands-on with basic computer systems and production tracking Conditions:Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery noise and printing walking and lifting required throughout the overtime and weekend work may be required.
