Machine Operator for Smokehouse 1st Shift

• You will operate all different machines and equipment. Along with monitoring and troubleshooting the production equipment you will be supplying the lines to ensure a continuous production flow.
• You will help to perform product checks to ensure quality for our consumers.
• You will collaborate with all departments to support production demand and maintain product quality standards.
• Cleanliness is important in our facilities. You will help maintain a clean work area to comply with food safety and OSHA requirements.

• This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like lifting boxes of up to 60 pounds climbing stairs and using your hands to move things.
• This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy. Safety is important to us; we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment.
• Overtime may be needed to ensure we fulfill production demand.

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) Word Outlook email
• An understanding of HACCP
• The ability to regularly lift up to 60lbs
• A willingness to cross-train
• The desire to participate in ongoing efficiency projects
