• Proficiently operate and maintain basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and how they impact the business.
• Continuous learning of the principles practices and processes of the job as changes require.
• Safely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques including overhead hoists/lift tables.
• Understand machine guarding and safe operation of machinery.
• Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
• May occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed
• Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed

Education

• High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to pass the basic assessment test
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Work in a team environment in a professional manner
• Effectively communicate
• Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to read blueprints/Diagrams tape measure by millimeters and inches dial caliper and any other measuring instruments as needed and complete Measurement Quality Check sheet.
• Ability to understand and execute basic standard machining procedures interpret basic visual diagrams and use basic hand tools.
