This is an AWW2 Weekend Night Shift position: Friday Saturday Sunday 6pm- - 6:30am

What You Will Do:

• Read and interpret work instructions

• Strong computer skills

• Set up and operate a variety of production equipment and measuring devices. Examples may include milling/grinding machines furnaces peening machines part wash machines coating machines airflow/water flow machines calipers micrometers gauges etc.

• Work from operation sheets work instructions part travelers and oral instruction to set up equipment within the assigned business unit involving a limited number of surfaces to be machined.

• Obtain operator certification to be able to accept/reject parts.

• Maintain machines by performing required total preventative maintenance (TPM).

• Work collaboratively with engineers quality assurance programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development (if applicable).

• Frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time) bending reaching pulling pushing transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds

• May be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract

• Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years Machine Operator or Manufacturing Experience

• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously

• Strong communication skills verbal and written

• Strong computer skills
