Schedule

Monday - Friday 2nd Shift

Training for all night shift employees is done on the day shift. Schedule flexibility to meet this requirement is required for consideration.

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate a converting bag machine.
• Adjust repair and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
• Train operators to make minor to mid adjustments and repairs on machinery.
• Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specifications.
• Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
• Provide feedback to the Production Supervisors & Production Manager on machine upkeep and issues.
• Set print and gauge printers.
• Lead by example with a positive outlook through practice and work habit a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plan environment to develop and maintain a safe efficient high quality low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
• Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
• Train coach and enforce all company safety policies.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed including Saturdays and holidays.

What you Bring

• Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environmentsomeone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
• Physically capable of standing bending walking twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
• Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
• Prior machine maintenance experience is required.
