LVN LPN Long Term Care

• Shift / Schedule: Evening (5x8 Hours) 2:00 PM 10:00 PM

This is a long-term care travel/contract nursing position on a 42-bed long-term care unit at a facility in Newark NY. The unit serves patients with diagnoses including Dementia Arthritis CHF and CVA. First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

• Provide licensed nursing care on a 42-bed long-term care unit
• Float per facility need as required
• Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend (EOW) basis
• Manage patient ratios of 1:21 on Days and Weekends and 1:42 on Nights
• Care for patients with diagnoses including Dementia Arthritis CHF and CVA

• EPIC proficiency required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:21 (Days/Weekends) and 1:42 (Nights)
• Willingness and ability to float per facility need
• Availability for every-other-weekend coverage

• LPN License required
• BLS certification required
• NY State LPN/LVN licensure required (NY is not a Compact state)
• 1 year of experience required

• Minimum 1 year of LVN/LPN experience required
• Patient ratio experience required: 1:21

• 42-bed long-term care unit
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM (5x8 hours)
• Every-other-weekend coverage required
• Floating required per facility need

This client is a healthcare organization operating a long-term care and acute care network in the Rochester NY region serving patients across inpatient and specialty clinical settings. The facility employs licensed nurses licensed practical nurses clinical technicians and allied health professionals across nursing cardiac emergency and radiology departments. All positions at this facility are contract-based with a travel workforce model serving a patient population with complex chronic and acute care needs.
