Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to support the Primary Care team at the Dayton VA Medical Center. This is more than a nursing job. Every patient you care for is a Veteran who served our country and you will be a vital part of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) that keeps them healthy supported and heard.

• Graduation from a practical nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of completion
• Current full and unrestricted Ohio LPN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS required if assigned to a specialty clinic)
• Minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary Primary Care team
• Obtain patient and family histories assist with assessments and help plan appropriate nursing care
• Carry out provider orders and document all care accurately in the electronic health record
• Administer treatments and monitor and document patient responses to medications
• Educate patients and families on prescribed medications therapies and procedures
• Operate EKG machines cardiac monitors and other clinical equipment as needed
• Recognize emergencies and initiate appropriate lifesaving measures

• Full-time M-F schedule with no nights no weekends
