Pay: $33$39/hour

Position Summary

The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents working closely with the care team to support each residents health comfort and dignity throughout the evening hours.

What Youll Do

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document residents conditions reporting changes to the care team
• Support residents with daily care needs in a respectful person-centered way
• Collaborate with nursing staff aides and the interdisciplinary team
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies during the shift
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

What Youll Need

• Active LPN license in good standing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability for evening shifts and rotating weekends

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1-year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Must have computer word processing and database experience.
• Must be able to read write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical effort required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Possible exposure to chemicals blood borne pathogens and other infectious diseases.
• Sits stands bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents family members visitors frequently.

Additional Information :

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Part-Time $33-$39 p/h includes rotating weekends
