At Deaconess our LPN RN Bridge role allows nursing students who already hold their LPN license to work in a PRN LPN position while completing RN school. Its a great way to continue building your clinical experience stay connected to patient care and grow within an organization committed to a mission of healing.
As an LPN RN youll play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
As an LPN you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. Responsibilities may include:
Monitoring and documenting patients health
Administering medications
Assisting with personal care needs
Performing routine medical procedures
Collaborating with nurses providers and the broader healthcare team
Providing compassionate patient-centered care
Completion of an accredited LPN program and current state LPN licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergency situations
Basic knowledge of medical procedures pharmacology and patient care techniques
At least 1 year of previous clinical unit experience preferred
Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
Physical stamina and emotional stability
Hourly Rate: $23.00-$34.50
Eligible employees may also receive evening/night and weekend shift incentives based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
