Job Description:

Education:

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience (one (1) year must be in high-acuity pediatric care in a hospital home care agency or residential setting
• Preferred: One (1) year of home care experience
• Preferred: Supervisory experience

Skills:

• Ability to function independently organize and prioritize responsibilities efficiently and demonstrate good nursing judgement
• Ability to work well under stress and adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to work in various home environments
• Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients families coworkers physicians and community resources and exhibit empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates computer and general office machine skills

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: LPN License active in the state of Missouri
• Required: Active Drivers License
