We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and thrives in a team-oriented environment. You will be responsible for a mix of direct clinical care and essential clerical support adhering strictly to department protocols.
Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on nursing care including preparing patients for appointments gathering vital signs and ensuring rooms are clean and stocked.
Clinical Skills: Perform necessary procedures including Electrocardiogram (EKG) venipuncture capillary draws and administering injections.
Protocol Adherence: Maintain strict adherence to department protocols and clearly understand responsibilities for clinical judgment even in the absence of a provider.
Clerical Support: Complete necessary administrative and clerical tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and accurate patient records.
Flexibility: Maintain the ability to work at multiple locations based on business needs.
Licensure (Required):
Current unrestricted LPN State License required.
Current CPR or BLS certification required.
Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
Experience & Skills:
15 years of recent experience working in a medical facility (as an MA or LPN) preferred.
Current experience with EKG vital signs venipuncture capillary draws and injections required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Commitment: Must enjoy change being busy and thrive in a dynamic setting.
Other Requirements: Current health records with appropriate immunizations required; ability to meet physical demands (lifting standing operating a computer).
