Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) youll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. Youll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility.

Every day youll manage care for multiple patients adapting to physician availability on-site and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.

  • Prepare patients for visits by obtaining vital signs documenting medical histories updating patient records and ensuring patient comfort privacy and efficient clinic flow.
  • Provide direct patient care within LPN scope of practice including triage diagnostic testing specimen collection wound care catheter care splint application medication administration and assisting with procedures.
  • Educate patients and families on treatments testing follow-up care referrals medications and health-related questions while responding to patient calls and coordinating care.
  • Perform clinical and laboratory support duties including point-of-care testing venipuncture EKGs spirometry prescription processing documentation and carrying out provider orders in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate medical records medication inventory controlled substance logs and ensure compliance with clinical safety infection control and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain exam rooms instruments equipment and clinical supplies by cleaning sterilizing stocking preparing procedure rooms and supporting providers to deliver safe high-quality patient care.
Job Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing upon hire and
  • One year of LPN work experience in a clinic setting or
  • Licensed Practical Nurse: WA upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
  • Drivers License: WA upon hire


Preferred

  • Two years of acute care LPN work experience
