Role Description
ID Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a full-time field-based position serving clients throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region.
The role focuses primarily on servicing and troubleshooting low-voltage communications and physical security systems along with smaller installation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot maintain and repair CCTV access control burglar alarm and phone systems
- Perform low-voltage cabling work small installations and system upgrades as needed
- Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Test systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Travel to client locations throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding service issues findings and completed work
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and installation work
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with low-voltage cabling maintenance and troubleshooting
- 5 years of hands-on experience working with CCTV access control burglar alarm and phone systems
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with the team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid drivers license
- Ability and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
- Relevant low-voltage certifications technical training or a degree in a related field is a plus
