Position Summary
The Logistics Technician III supports production and warehouse operations through material handling logistics coordination inventory movement production support tasks and facility sanitation activities. This role works closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily logistics and production support operations in compliance with work instructions and procedures
Move materials and complete transactions within production and manufacturing systems
Prepare materials for production and logistics activities
Perform warehouse and production support functions including picking staging and inventory movement
Utilize Vertical Lift Modules (VLM) and mobile racking systems for material retrieval and storage
Operate pallet jacks carts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Perform scheduled van runs between Fairport facilities to transport materials and parts
Maintain accurate documentation and update records within plant systems and manufacturing execution systems
Support building sanitation and maintain a clean organized work environment
Train and support team members on operational procedures and responsibilities
Follow all PPE safety and cleanroom protocols
QualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid drivers license
1 2 years of work experience
Ability to work independently and within team environments
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in manufacturing warehouse or logistics environments
Ability to lift and move materials as needed throughout shift
Preferred:
Warehouse shipping logistics or production support experience
SAP experience
Experience working in cleanroom or manufacturing environments
Experience using inventory systems VLM systems or warehouse tracking systems
Work Environment
Cleanroom and manufacturing environment
PPE required including safety shoes safety glasses gloves frocks and facemasks
Frequent standing walking and movement throughout facility
Material movement between buildings required throughout shift
Exposure to warehouse and production operations
