Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator II (Hybrid) serves as a point of contact for international customers distributors freight forwarders and stakeholders regarding export shipments. This role is responsible for managing the logistics and compliance process for export accounts ensuring timely delivery regulatory compliance and a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a high level of critical thought and showcase an ability to complete a varying degree of tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of accountability problem solving critical thinking for decision-making and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the customer shipment process for assigned international and export accounts from shipment readiness until delivery at destination.
- Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Coordinate with Customer Care Planning Shipping Transportation Trade Compliance Credit Sales and other internal teams with a high sense of accountability and urgency to resolve customer-impacting issues and remove shipment barriers.
- Prepare and review for accuracy of export documentation required for exportation and overseas importation such as but not limited to commercial invoice packing list government certificates and provide AES filings.
- Work directly with freight forwarders brokers carriers and logistics providers to support successful shipment execution.
- Assisting external and internal customers with the international shipment process with urgency and accountability.
- Dedication to 80/20 overserve strategies for all responsibilities.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the Logistics Department.
- Successfully meet all departmental and company assigned KPIs along with annual individual SMART and Development goals.
- Share knowledge support cross team collaboration to drive issue resolution.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Applies acquired job skills and Regal Rexnord policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
- 2-3 Years of related work experience in Import/Export field.
- Knowledge of international shipping documentation export regulations Incoterms free trade agreements shipping compliance and global transportation processes including basic understanding of AES filings.
- Strong Communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate maintaining while positive internal /external relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and drive continuous improvements.
- Developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make informed decisions independently.
- Experience in ERP and business systems such as SAP Oracle GTMS Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and navigate complex situations with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Aerospace and/or controlled parts preferred.
