A growing established company in the food & beverage manufacturing industry with strong retail partnerships.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client a growing food & beverage manufacturer is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to own the inbound logistics process for placed client orders and manage the flow of product from manufacturing through to the warehouse. This includes coordinating the movement of product from European manufacturing facilities to the U.S. ensuring it arrives at the warehouse accurately on time and ready to fulfill customer orders. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the European team brokers and freight forwarders acting as a key link between manufacturing and distribution with the potential to grow into a Logistics Manager role over time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inbound logistics for placed client orders
• Coordinate closely with the European team on order status and shipment planning
• Schedule and coordinate shipments with brokers and freight forwarders
• Order containers of product for shipment from Europe to the US
• Book schedule and coordinate transportation and delivery logistics
• Serve as a key point of contact across the international supply chain

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP/logistics system
• Experience working with major retail accounts (e.g. Walmart Aldi Trader Joes Target Meijer or similar)
• Strong communication and coordination skills across time zones
• Bilingual ability a plus; Dutch or German language skills strongly preferred
• Able to work onsite in Buford GA MondayFriday (earlier start time a plus for European coordination)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Compensation: $60-65K
