Location: Liberty MO

Magna is seeking a Logistics Area Leader to support material planning inventory management production scheduling and supplier relationships to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining efficient inventory levels and uninterrupted production operations.

• Coordinate production schedules releases and forecasts with suppliers and internal teams

• Monitor inventory levels and proactively address supply chain risks that could impact production or customer deliveries

• Analyze material demand and consumption trends to support production requirements

• Work closely with Purchasing Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to support customer requirements

• Manage supplier relationships delivery performance and material availability

• Maintain ERP MRP and EDI systems to support planning and inventory accuracy

• Support continuous improvement initiatives involving inventory management Kanban systems and supply chain optimization

• Lead and support material planning inventory analysis and logistics operations

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Business Management or a related field preferred

• 5 years of experience in program planning scheduling logistics or supply chain operations in the automotive industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong knowledge of inventory management Lean Manufacturing Kanban JIT and logistics operations

• Experience using ERP MRP/MPS EDI and other supply chain management systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook

• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills

• APICS certification is a plus

• Experience with continuous improvement Kanban systems FIFO PFEP or Kaizen activities is preferred
