Locum Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant

**Position Overview: Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA Only)**

- **Coverage Duration:** Immediate; 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension.

- **Practice Setting:** Outpatient clinic exclusively.

- **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

- **Daily Duties:** Manage a diverse orthopedic patient population including total joint cases.

Responsibilities encompass initial consultations for new patients treatment of fractures post-operative follow-ups and administration of injections.

- **Call Requirements:** No on-call duties.

- **Patient Volume:** Anticipated caseload of 19-21 patients daily.

- **Electronic Medical Record System:** EPIC.

**Credentialing Information:**

- **Timeframe:** Approximately 60-90 days from application submission.

- **Certifications Required:** Board Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as recognized by the American Hospital Association.

- **Licensure:** An active California medical license is mandatory.
