Locum NPPA Emergency Medicine

**Position Requirements:**-

**Qualifications:** Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)

- **Certifications:** Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

**Licensing Restrictions:**

- **Eligibility:** Candidates must possess an active Illinois NP or PA-C license and an Illinois Controlled Substance license.

**Schedule:**

- **Shift Structure:** Rotating 12-hour shifts encompassing both day (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and night (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) rotations. Candidates must be available for shifts seven days a week including weekends and holidays.

**Essential Job Functions:**- Must be a Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or PA-C.

- Active Illinois RN/NP or PA license is mandatory.

- Active Illinois Controlled Substance license is mandatory.

- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are essential.

- Must maintain availability as needed.

**Preferred Candidate Profile:**- References are required.

- Candidates who can be credentialed without complications are preferred.

**Certification Standards:**- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

- BLS certification through the AHA is required.

- PALS certification through the AHA is required
