What Were Looking For:

A highly skilled and experienced Locksmith to join our hotels engineering and security team. This role is responsible for the repair maintenance and programming of all door hardware and electronic locking systems throughout the property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in locksmithing including key cutting and lock manipulation as well as expertise in electronic door lock software systems.

What Youll Do:

  • Perform repair and maintenance of all doors locks and associated hardware across guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities.

  • Install configure and troubleshoot electronic door lock systems and software.

  • Cut keys re-key locks according to bitting lists and open locks using approved lock-defeating tools and methods.

  • Maintain accurate records of key issuance lock changes and system configurations.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal safety codes as well as hotel security protocols.

  • Respond promptly to service requests and security-related lock issues.

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain system integrity and access control.

  • Assist in emergency lockouts and provide technical support for electronic access systems.

  • Maintain inventory of locksmith tools parts and supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards.

  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations.

  • Maintain regular attendance in conformance with company standards; attend required meetings and training sessions.

  • Work varying schedules as required to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach toward work activities.

  • Manage multiple projects to timely and successful completion.

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in locksmithing preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in locksmithing including electronic lock systems.

  • Proficiency in electronic door lock software.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic locking mechanisms.

  • Ability to read and interpret bitting lists schematics and technical manuals.

  • Familiarity with local state and federal safety and security regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving communication interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Role requires regularly lifting items up to 50 lbs. and working in confined spaces or elevated areas.

  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
