Job overview:
This role is responsible for safely loading and unloading furniture from trucks ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage and placed correctly. Key duties include picking staging and preparing products for delivery or transfer as well as cleaning repairing wrapping and assembling furniture to ensure it is event ready. The position also requires maintaining a clean organized workspace and may involve interacting with customers. Strong attention to detail and a professional customer focused attitude are essential. All workers must adhere to the designated rest period (6 hours) before returning to work if you book a shift without this rest period you are subject to be removed from the shift without compensation.
Steel toe safety or composite shoes are mandatory. Plain t-shirt & jeans/work pants or shorts. No loose clothing. Failure to adhere to the correct uniform policy will result in being sent home. Cort will provide high visibility safety vest.
