A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Litigation Staff Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated litigation work in a collaborative environment without the traditional partner-track expectations. The role offers meaningful responsibility on complex commercial litigation matters while working closely with experienced litigators and trial teams.

3 years of litigation experience gained at a law firm government agency or corporate legal department

Experience supporting complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts

Experience drafting motions briefs memoranda discovery requests and responses subpoenas and other litigation documents

Experience conducting legal research fact development witness preparation and deposition preparation

Experience managing document review e-discovery privilege reviews and large-scale discovery matters

Experience preparing for hearings arbitrations mediations and trial

Strong legal writing analytical organizational and case management skills

Ability to manage multiple matters while working collaboratively with attorneys clients and litigation support professionals

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated commercial litigation practice

High-level legal work without traditional business development expectations
