Litigation Paralegal

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a national law firm with offices in all 50 States has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Seattle office. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal preferably in a large law firm setting.

Qualifications:

• Experience in litigation support and case management.
• Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases remaining flexible proactive resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience drafting and organizing discovery both written discovery and document production.
• Experience preparing for and assisting at trial.
• Familiarity with the State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedures.
• Experience with Summation Pro Relativity or comparable litigation support software.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail organizational and technical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally productively and efficiently with clients contacts attorneys other paralegals and all other professional staff.
• Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings performing factual and legal research reviewing and analyzing documents and supporting preparations for hearings depositions and mediations.
• Review gather and organize client documents from production to discovery.
• Research organize and summarize records as needed to assist in data gathering including organizing information and documents in databases.
• Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses.
• Assist in trial preparation including drafting pre-trial pleadings preparing exhibits coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors and live trial support
• Other duties as assigned.

The yearly salary range is between $74500-$95000. This position is open to all experience levels. The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills training experience including the location where the position is filled.
