Position Overview: GLP Attorneys is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to work with our Trial Teams and Trial Mentoring Program ideally based in our Burlington or Bellingham office. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting personal injury cases through litigation and trial this role you will collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to provide comprehensive litigation support including legal document preparation discovery case organization deadline management witness coordination and trial preparation. Through your work with our Trial Teams and Trial Mentoring Program you will help support collaboration knowledge sharing and the development of trial skills across our legal teams.

In this position you will:
- Collaborate with our Trial Teams and support the Trial Mentoring Program through litigation support trial preparation and coordination.
- Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to manage cases through litigation and trial.
- Manage client communications and maintain relationships with clients healthcare providers and other involved parties.
- Draft correspondence pleadings discovery and responses to discovery for attorney review.
- Draft motions responses and replies and assist with legal research and memoranda.
- Maintain and organize case files including pleadings discovery and trial materials.
- Assist with preparing and organizing trial exhibits witness lists and trial binders.
- Retain and coordinate with expert witnesses and assist with witness preparation and scheduling.
- Review and evaluate medical records.
- Prepare ER 904 submissions and other case-related documents as needed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Exercise independent judgment to identify issues recommend next steps and support case strategy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Litigation experience required particularly in trial preparation and support.
- A minimum of two years of experience in plaintiffs personal injury law.
- A bachelors degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across legal teams with attorneys paralegals clients healthcare providers and staff.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in drafting and proofreading legal documents.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
- Ability to work independently identify and resolve problems and effectively prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing medical records; experience coordinating with expert witnesses preferred.
- Interest in supporting mentorship knowledge sharing and professional development through the Trial Mentoring Program.
Compensation and Benefits: The hourly base pay range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Compensation is determined using local national and industry-specific data and is based on location. Compensation is adjusted based on the selected candidates years of experience education and skills.
