Principal Accountabilities
- Start up and shut down of a production line making mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting equipment
- Ensure all production paperwork is completed which will require basic mathematical calculations (addition subtraction multiplication and division)
- Responsible for containing and proactively addressing potential problems that may arise to limit disruptions to production
- Ensuring all processing steps have been completed and a quality product is delivered to the customer (all food handler tasks were completed properly; i.e. proper packaging weights are in acceptable range)
- Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Follow and champion personal and food safety policies and procedures as well as reporting all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read write and speak English
- Ability to perform basic math such as Addition Subtraction Division and Multiplication
- Must be willing to work in hot cold and wet environment with cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work overtime including weekends and/or holidays as needed with advanced notice
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous food manufacturing experience
- Previous experience in a fast paced safety focused environment
- Ability to carry out assigned projects with little to no supervision
