- Responsible for installing configuring and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in containerized environments.
- Manage and monitor container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Implement best practices for secure scalable and efficient container deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RHEL systems and container infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts.
- Perform regular system and security updates patches and upgrades.
- Manage system backups recovery processes and disaster recovery planning.
- Document system processes configurations and changes for future reference.
- Utilize scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python) for automation and system management.
- Ensure strong system security networking and file system administration.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
