Line Technician Poway Honda

Salary: $35 - $55 / flat rate based on experience and certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose inspect and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform work outlined on repair orders including complex diagnostics and repairs while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.
• Identify additional safety maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings clearly with the Service Advisor.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure proper vehicle operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings repairs and parts used.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors Parts and other technicians to complete repairs efficiently and meet customer expectations.
• Support and mentor apprentice and developing technicians as assigned; share technical knowledge and best practices.
• Stay current on manufacturer training technical bulletins diagnostic procedures safety requirements and applicable federal state and local regulations.

Master Technician Additional Responsibility

• Serve as a technical resource for the team by assisting with complex diagnostics difficult repairs and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications :

• High CSI is a must.
• ASE or manufacturing training.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
• Manual dexterity.
• Good Judgment.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks MVR drug test and valid driver license.
