Job Summary
Lifeguard (seasonal full time and part time)
$16.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 15 years old and have or obtain lifeguard certification prior to starting employment with the City of Grosse Pointe Park. Duties include supervising swimming activities at the pool and ensuring that policies guidelines and safety procedures and protocols are followed; assisting with swim lessons daily opening and closing duties and general pool deck maintenance; attend training and staff meeting; watching and warning swimmers of improper activities or danger; enforcing pool regulations and water safety policies; and promote a positive and safe experience for all.
