Job Summary

About Juno

Juno leverages collective bargaining power to secure better student loan rates for students. With 290000 members and over $2B in negotiated loan volume weve proven that group buying works. We are the most popular way to pay for the worlds top graduate programs and were looking for someone to own the communications that reach our members at the moments that decide whether they borrow with us.

The Problem:

Federal lending reforms have created a significant market July 2026 new caps on federal graduate loans including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students came into effect leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent competitive private options exactly what Juno provides.

Your mission:

Were seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the execution of our member communications across all our products and business lines. Juno sends at high volume to a member base of 290000 and the gap between a good send and a great one is measured in funded loans.

Youll be the person who turns what we know about our members into the right message to the right segment at the right moment in their borrowing cycle and who can prove what it did.

What youll do:

  • Own lifecycle execution end to end: Build and ship email and SMS campaigns across grad undergrad and refi.
  • Learn the Juno product and data model deeply: This is the core of the job:
    • Understand how a member moves from signup to rate offer to application to funded loan
    • Know what we hold on every member where it lives and what it can and cant tell you
    • Use that structure to build segmentation and personalization that hold up at scale
  • Build segments that are actually right: Define who receives what by vertical school application stage loan status and timing. A mis-scoped audience is the most expensive mistake in this role.
  • Work in coordination with the people who own products/business lines: Translate the goals of grad leaders and senior team members into a shipped campaign calendar.
  • Own measurement: Report on what each campaign did. Opens and clicks but mostly applications started applications completed and loans funded. Bring the read to the team before anyone asks for it.
  • Run the test roadmap: Propose and run experiments on subject lines timing sequencing and offers and keep a record so we stop re-learning the same lessons.
  • Keep the program clean and compliant: Route messaging through compliance review maintain suppression and deliverability hygiene and keep the account organized enough that someone else could pick up your work.
  • Use AI as a multiplier: Draft QA and debug with AI tools. Segment logic Liquid SQL copy variants post-send analysis. We expect the work to move faster because of them and we expect you to catch it when the output is wrong.

What We Offer

Compensation: Base salary range: $80000$100000 depending on experience plus an annual performance bonus. Benefits include comprehensive health dental and vision coverage and 401(k) matching.

Benefits: Comprehensive health dental vision and retirement matching

What Were Looking For

  • Background: Typically 13 years in lifecycle/CRM marketing marketing operations growth or an analytical role adjacent to one of them.
    • Open to a lifecycle marketer who wants to go deeper on data or an analyst/ops person who wants to move into growth
    • Hands-on experience with an ESP ( MailChimp Klaviyo HubSpot) is a plus; well teach you ours
  • Comfortable with data: You can read a funnel reason about a segment and tell a real result from noise. You dont need SQL on day one but you should want to learn it.
  • AI fluency: You already use AI in your daily work and can walk us through exactly how. We care less about which tools you use than whether youve actually changed the way you work and whether you know where they fall down.
  • Precision: The work is high-volume and unforgiving of small errors because a wrong merge field or a mis-scoped audience reaches thousands of people at once. You check your work and you build processes so the checking isnt the only thing standing between us and a mistake.
  • Execution over ideation: Youll ship a lot. Youd rather run the calendar well than spend the week debating it.
  • Curiosity about the product: You want to understand how student lending actually works federal versus private what drives a rate cosigners deferral refinancing because you cant segment well on a product you dont understand.
  • Comfort with seasonality: our year has a peak. You plan for it months ahead and go all-in when it lands.
  • Tenacity: we work as hard as it takes to achieve our targets.

The X-Factor

  • Youre precise: You catch the broken link before it goes to 40000 people
  • Youre curious about the data: When something works your first instinct is to ask why
  • You close the loop: A campaign isnt done until youve reported what it did
  • You think in systems: Youd rather build the process once than do the thing by hand ten times
