Carolina Meadows a prestigious senior living community in Chapel Hill North Carolina is seeking a creative and passionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator at Carolina Meadows you will have the opportunity to enhance the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities that promote physical emotional and social :Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational and educational programs for residents taking into consideration their interests abilities and and facilitate group activities such as arts and crafts fitness classes games cultural events and individual assessments to identify residents unique needs and interests and create personalized activity resident participation and engagement in activities fostering a sense of community and with other departments and staff members to ensure seamless coordination of events and accurate records of resident participation and updated on current trends and best practices in senior life enrichment and incorporate innovative ideas into the emotional support and companionship to residents fostering positive relationships and a vibrant living :Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy Gerontology or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be experience in life enrichment recreational programming or a related role preferably in a senior living or healthcare for working with seniors and a genuine interest in enhancing their quality of and resourceful with the ability to plan and organize engaging activities for diverse communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with residents families and organizational skills and attention to to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented in working schedule including weekends and evenings as Work at Carolina Meadows: Carolina Meadows is a renowned not-for-profit organization committed to providing exceptional senior living services for over 30 years.
