Job Summary
The William S. Hart Union High School District located in the northern part of Los Angeles County serves approximately 21000 students in grades seven through twelve in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Under general direction of the supervisor of health services an assigned school site administrator (when applicable) and supervision of a credentialed school registered nurse provides specialized health care services to students including administration of medical procedures such as but not limited to: catheterization insulin and medication administration gastrostomy feedings suctioning and related record management.
Education and Experience:Graduation from an accredited Vocational Nursing program. Experience in a public or private health setting as a Licensed Vocational Nurse is and Certificates:Valid California License of Vocational Nursing (LVN) Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid certificates. Valid California drivers license.
