Licensed Practical Nurse Or Certified Medical Assistant Industrial On-site Clinic

The Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care as needed at an industrial clinic in Sturgeon Bay WI.

• Greet and room patients record vital signs and collect medical histories.
• Coordinate provider schedules manage appointments and prepare patient charts.
• Educate and Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
• Prepare for and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and administer medications and immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
• Monitor and restock medical supplies to ensure readiness for patients.
• Schedule patient appointments for lab draws and process lab work as needed.

Qualifications: BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job).

Medical Assistant:Certified as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred however can train on the job.

Licensed Practical Nurse:Graduation from an accredited school of practical Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.

Shift: Working Casual Call (meaning you work as needed) primarily looking to staff on Thursdays and Fridays at a local Industrial Clinic in Sturgeon Bay WI.
