Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Endoscopy Services

If you like most weekends and evenings free then welcome to the Endoscopy Department. We offer you the opportunity to work with both inpatients and outpatients. Our team consists of nurses technicians and highly skilled physicians. The diversity of this department allows you to work with pre and post procedure patients. You will perform colonoscopies endoscopies paracentesis ERCPs alongside our physicians. While there is a call commitment the department is not open at night on weekends or on holidays. Endoscopy is the best of both worlds great staff and less intrusive on your family life. A fast paced department you probably never thought of!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess diagnose plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN Preferred.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.
• BLS required. ACLS and PALS are encouraged but not required.
• Other: Ability to read write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
