The Willows at Red Oak Recoveryin Fletcher NC offers a women-only treatment experience designed to heal the whole personmind body and spirit. Our trauma-informed program helps women address substance use and emotional pain through individualized therapy holistic wellness and evidence-based care. We empower women to rebuild their lives with strength connection and lasting purpose.

We are seeking aLicensed Practical Nurseto provide medical case management services to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services focused on addiction treatment and recovery. This position involves providing direct patient care monitoring patient progress and administering treatments in accordance with established medical protocols. The LPN will serve as a patient advocate ensuring that individuals receive compassionate evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to develop and implement effective care plans that promote healing and long-term recovery. Ultimately the LPN contributes to improving patient outcomes by combining clinical expertise with patient education and support throughout the recovery journey.


Position Type/Expected Hours

  • This is a full-time position
  • Position requires onsite employment
  • Wednesday & Thursday 2:00PM - 10:00PM; Friday & Saturday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct new client intakes
  • Participate in accurate and detailed management of all client medications
  • Participate in medication administration as needed
  • Ensure effective documentation of all medication administration in assigned timeframe
  • Communicate with and update clients parent/ family if applicable on any medical concerns
  • Provide medication administration support to direct care staff and ensure that proper medical documentation and quality control occurs
  • Provide medical check-ins with clients and be the primary medical care provider while on base
  • Participate in a rotating on call schedule
  • Be available for medical consultation/expertise for all base/field scenarios when on call
  • Support campus RN as required
  • Collaborate with campus RN to keep client charts up to date

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing
  • Current North Carolina state licensure as an LPN
  • Experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in nursing
