Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to find a School Social Worker who is passionate about helping students succeed beyond the classroom. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships with students and helping them develop the social-emotional skills needed to succeed at school and in their everyday lives.
What Youll Do
In this position youll provide direct support to students experiencing academic behavioral social or emotional challenges. Youll conduct student assessments provide counseling and interventions respond to situations requiring immediate support and work with school teams to identify effective solutions. Youll also communicate with families connect them with appropriate community resources and advocate for services that address individual student needs.
Your work will extend beyond individual student support. Youll partner with teachers administrators families and other professionals to develop coordinated strategies strengthen student support systems and contribute to a welcoming school environment where students feel supported and capable of reaching their potential.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work
- School-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong counseling communication assessment and collaboration skills.
- Ability to support students with varied social emotional and behavioral needs.
- Active Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement or eligibility to obtain the required credentials.
