Legal Intern 2027 Summer

Principal Responsibilities:Gain exposure to maritime law and the Jones Act contracts litigation insurance and with contract drafting and creation of a contract with internal legal and claims teams and outside counsel on claims and litigation with Marquettes marine insurance with day-to-day tasks and special projects as :Currently pursuing a law degree (J.D. candidate).Strong research writing and analytical skills with attention to in maritime law transportation or related industries to manage multiple tasks and work with internal teams and outside thinker who is comfortable generating new ideas and trying innovative -oriented with strong communication skills and a willingness to take and ability to travel to New Orleans or other locations as Join UsGain hands-on legal experience across a broad range of practice areas from contract drafting to litigation part of a cornerstone industry in our region and learn about what makes the maritime industry opportunities throughout the Company and with other summer and diverse is a paid summer internship opportunity located onsite in Paducah KY with internship dates ranging from June 1 2027 to July 31 2027 (can be flexible on dates).
