We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide essential support our attorneys and legal team. This position plays a vital role in case development and trial preparation through the management of case files preparation of legal documents maintenance of client communication and ensuring key deadlines are met. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
What Youll Do
Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files; ensure information is current and accurately entered in case management systems.
Scheduled client phone calls meetings and depositions.
Monitor attorney calendars and deadlines; proactively communicate upcoming obligations and assist in scheduling.
File court documents on courts electronic filing system.
Assist in drafting legal documents including complaints discovery requests and responses.
Assist in case development by maintaining contact with clients medical providers experts and other involved parties.
Prepare case summaries pleadings and supporting documents for mediation depositions and team review.
Track discovery progress and follow up on outstanding items.
Support attorneys with other case-related administrative and project tasks.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Outlook Excel OneDrive) and familiarity with legal case management software.
Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing workflows and attorney needs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or higher preferred.
Two or more years of legal assistant experience or equivalent administrative experience with transferable skills.
Experience in personal injury medical malpractice or litigation support preferred.
Familiarity with electronic court filing systems legal terminology and calendaring procedures.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
