As a Leasing Manager - Multifamily with Hines you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing advertising sales activities and leasing team members for the property.

  • Actively participate in the leasing process
  • Supervise and manage the propertys leasing team members
  • Ensure the achievement of the propertys revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing advertising and sales actives as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy
  • Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenue
  • Partner with the maintenance team to make sure the propertys appearance and safety is up to Hines Residentials standards
  • Review and analyze financial reports pertaining to issues impacting leasing performance
  • Oversee the lease renewal program and the communication process
  • Become a point of reference for any questions residents may have
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution; college degree is a plus
  • Two or more years of experience in residential property management or related industry
  • Sales and/or supervisory experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with property management software preferred; Entrada experience a plus
  • Must currently hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for the state of IL within 120 days
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors approximately 5% of the time
  • Use olfactory auditory and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
  • On occasion perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Though occurrences are rare be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters
  • Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr
