With a staff of 950 and an annual budget of $140 million Project Renewal is one of the larger social service nonprofits in New York :Learning and Development InternProgram:Human Resources Training & DevelopmentSalary Range: $25 an hourSchedule: RemoteReports To: Senior Director of Training & DevelopmentOverall Responsibilities:Join Project Renewals Learning and Development team as a paid intern and gain hands-on experience supporting the design implementation and evaluation of leadership development programs across the agency. The intern will help develop curricula analyze learning data and contribute to workforce development projects aligned with the organizations strategic Duties and Responsibilities:The essential duties of the Learning and Development Intern include but are not limited to the following activities:Curriculum Design & DevelopmentAssist in creating research-informed performance-focused learning materials that support organizational goals and reflect management and leadership best on the design and implementation of scalable learning programs grounded in adult learning principles and relevant frameworks including trauma-informed care inclusion and belonging transformational leadership training materials adhere to and support standard operating procedures and compliance Analysis & ReportingParticipate in audits of training data and documentation to identify gaps and improvement in analyzing learner performance data and preparing reports for to process improvements for progress monitoring and performance :Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education Organizational Leadership Human Resources or a related field; OR demonstrated relevant experience in lieu of written and verbal communication with online platforms and cloud-based productivity tools (e.g. Google Workspace Microsoft Office).Comfort working collaboratively receiving feedback and maintaining flexibility in response to changing needs and -oriented with strong organizational and analytical & Competencies:Experience with curriculum design or facilitation (academic or extracurricular).Interest in data analysis and process to work independently and as part of a Conditions:Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods with occasional standing walking bending and reaching during normal work to use a computer keyboard phone video conferencing tools and other standard office equipment for extended to occasionally lift and carry work materials weighing up to 10 is primarily a remote role; occasional travel to Project Renewal work locations or in-person meetings may be required based on business is not a regular requirement of this Activities:Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods with occasional standing walking bending and reaching during normal work to use a computer keyboard phone video conferencing tools and other standard office equipment for extended to occasionally lift and carry work materials weighing up to 10 is primarily a remote role; occasional travel to Project Renewal work locations or in-person meetings may be required based on business is not a regular requirement of this Youll GainPractical experience in learning and development from experienced to contribute to real projects and make an impact on human services skills in curriculum design learning strategy and workforce accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this Statement:Project Renewal provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin age disability or addition to federal law requirements PRI complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.
