Job Description:
Columbus Technical College is seeking a highly qualified Lean Six Sigma professional to serve as a part-time Adjunct Instructor within Workforce Solutions. This position is responsible for developing and delivering industry focused Lean Six Sigma training programs for business and industry partners including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Green Belt and Black Belt courses. The instructor will collaborate with Workforce Solutions staff to develop curriculum instructional materials assessments and customized training solutions that meet employer needs. Instruction may be delivered during daytime evening or weekend hours at Columbus Technical College employer locations or virtually. This position is part-time/exempt.
Responsibilities:
Develop Lean Six Sigma curriculum lesson plans presentations student guides practical exercises and assessments
Deliver engaging Lean Six Sigma training to business and industry customers
Customize training content to meet employer-specific operational and continuous improvement needs
Facilitate classroom discussions simulations and project-based learning activities
Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
Maintain accurate attendance and training records
Collaborate with Workforce Solutions staff on course scheduling marketing support and program improvements
Stay current with Lean Six Sigma methodologies continuous improvement best practices and industry trends
Support development of additional continuous improvement and operational excellence training offerings as needed
Excellent written verbal and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employers and Workforce Solutions staff
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual learning platforms
Minimum Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification
Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing healthcare logistics government or other industry settings
Demonstrated experience developing curriculum instructional materials and training programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB)
Experience teaching or facilitating adult learnings
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education/experience. No benefits
