We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Senior Application Developer with strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing solutions using PowerApps Microsoft Dataverse Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Cloud Services. As a Senior Application Developer you will play a crucial role in driving agile development practices establishing coding best practices and contributing to the implementation of DevOps in our environment. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

This is a short-term (3-6 month) full-time position. There is a remote possibility that this role will extend beyond the period indicated.

US Citizenship is required for this addition the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

This is a remote position but the selected applicant must live within commuting distance of Washington D.C. in the event of emerging/event-driven requirements for on-site presence (extreme circumstances).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Microsoft Technologies Expertise:
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of PowerApps Microsoft Dataverse Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Cloud Services to architect and implement robust solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft technologies and recommend their adoption when applicable.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Serve a lead role in the design development and implementation of Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines enabling automated and secure software deployment.
• Agile Development:
  • Drive agile development methodologies within the team.
  • Participate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives..
  • Lead the estimation process providing accurate and timely point estimates for development efforts.
• DevOps Implementation:
  • Contribute to the implementation of DevOps practices in an Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with security and operations teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely as part of a cross-functional team including QA product management and business analysts.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer in Microsoft technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft Dataverse PowerApps and Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with cloud-based identity and access management service(i.e. Microsoft Entra Azure Active Directory (AAD))
• Experience with point estimation techniques and project planning.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and implementation in an Azure environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• US citizenship required

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Engineering Computer Science or a related discipline or the equivalent in years of experience.

Salary range: $150000 - $170000 commensurate with experience.

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to and successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education as well as a criminal and DMV check.

Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
