Job Description:
The Analog Power and Interface Division (APID) is looking for a Senior Manager to oversee the global applications teams supporting our Analog Power product lines. This role collaborates with marketing to develop product line strategies while also working with engineering function leaders to drive technical direction and execution.
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing global applications engineering team focusing on the senior managers reporting directly to this position
- Set clear performance objectives conduct regular reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence and client-centric problem solving
- Work with Analog Power applications team leaders to manage resource allocations across product lines and client support
- Collaborate with our global FAE team leadership ensuring their teams have the resources and tools to support client success
- Work with marketing and applications team leaders to establish individual product line strategies and roadmaps that align across all of Analog Power and to the business unit objectives
- Coordinate with leaders in other business units to position our complementary products as part of a total system solution for strategic end-market applications
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within and between new product development teams to ensure smooth and timely execution
- Discuss client needs directly with specific key end clients or more generally with our FAE teams
- Keep aware of key industry trends and competitive offerings for end markets relevant to the business unit strategy
- Collaborate with IC architects on new product definitions ensuring they enable client-valued power solutions
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education: BSEE or MSEE (or equivalent) emphasis in power electronics or analog circuit design preferred
- Experience: 15 years of progressive experience in analog/power semiconductor applications engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
- Domain Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of switch-mode power supply topologies (buck boost buck-boost flyback forward etc.) linear regulators power modules etc.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead geographically distributed engineering teams
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives
- Business Savvy: Ability to balance technical solution elegance with business impact
- Background in automotive and/or safety-critical product development including experience with AEC-Q100 and similar automotive standards
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 and/or IEC 61508 compliant design process

The annual base salary range for this position which could be performed in the US is $91000-$247000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
