LEAD WAIT STAFF - EDDY MEMORIAL GERIATRIC - Full Time

Schedule: Rotating weekends holidays included shifts vary 6a-2:30p/6:30a-3p/7a-3:30P/11:00a-7:30p

Eddy Memorial Geriatric is located in Troy NY and a member of St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a Food Service Worker to join its team in Food & Nutrition Services. Position Summary:

• Supervise other wait staff/food service workers to ensure that all jobs are done in a timely manner
• Set tables with clean linens condiments or other supplies.
• Work with nursing and other dining staff to serve residents
• Ensures all food service department policies and safety rules are followed
• Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens silverware glassware dishes and trays
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths when needed
• Perform serving cleaning or stocking duties in establishments such as cafeterias or dining rooms to facilitate customer service
• Serve food to customers when waiters or waitresses need assistance

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior food service experience required preferably in a lead position
• Experience waiting tables preferred

Pay Range: $16.70 - $20.36

Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
